LAJP

MANAGEMENT – Project lead for the Looted Art & Judaica Project (LAJP), a multi-facetted collaborative museum project about the looting and restitution of Jewish cultural property. The project focuses on both looted art and on Jewish ceremonial objects (judaica). LAJP is organised by an international consortium of six partners, funded by the European Union in the framework of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (European Remembrance, CERV-2023-CITIZENS-REM).

The project included the exhibition Looted. Personal Stories about the Looting and Restitution of Jewish Cultural Property at the National Holocaust Museum and the Jewish Museum in the Jewish Cultural Quarter Amsterdam (May 31 – Oct 27, 2024), the publication Dispossessed, the international symposium Looted at the Rijksmuseum, the podcast De verdwenen collectie Heppner, and extensive public programming, including a number of accessible events.
